About the Author:
Eli and Lynette Fields had served with the Pentecostal Church of God denomination since beginning ministry.  They are both graduates of Messenger College, the denominational college of the Pentecostal Church of God. Eli pastored in the Tennessee District PCG, and moved to Oregon in 2014 to pastor Chapel of Praise Eugene in the Oregon Southern Idaho District PCG.  Eli had been a credentialed minister with the PCG for more than 10 years and ordained for 9.  Lynette had recently become a licensed PCG minister.  Eli and Lynette separated from PCG and withdrew our credentials in December 2020 after discovering sexual abuse cover-ups within the Oregon Southern Idaho District PCG and apathy to correct them.
